Redneck Rampage has very good gameplay it has some realistic things but some fake things too. Redneck rampage is a game i met as i grew up and is quite anĪttention-grabber, it does not have so good graphics HOWEVER they are quite good for a 1997 f.p.s game. Make sure you get a version that works with your operating system as the original game runs on DOS and will only work with Windows 95 or Windows 98, (There's a different version for Mac, which may still work on a current MAC OS). Some of these user maps are better than the originals! This game had alot of "User Maps" made for it during it's hayday, most of which are still available on the web for free, which extends its play-again value. "Redneck Deer Hunter" is another folloup game, which uses some of the same humor and weapons, but is a hunting game. "Redneck Rampage Rides again" is a separate game with even more music, and additional weapons. There were two follow-up games and one map pack, "Route 66" is a map pack for the original game. If it's not harsh enough for you, there is a separate "Cus Pack" available that will make a sailor blush! The dude you play as (Leonard) has alot of very funny sayings! Some people may find the language and violence too harsh or crude for their children.

Players keep their health at tolerable levels by downing CowPies and pork rinds while swilling beer and whiskey. Adding to the challenge are dozens of alien-induced clones of Billy Ray Jeter (an inbred mountain man), the urban-legendary Skinny Old Coot, and Sheriff Hobbes, the county lawman. Hostile entities include deadly mosquitoes, chickens (target practice), cows, pigs, Turd Minions (alien fecal matter come alive), alien hulk guards, and vixens.
